Sense Chat, the First Secure Chat and Video Messenger, Launches on iOS & Android
Santa Monica, CA based Sense has released the first decentralized chat and video messenger with digital wallet, Sense.Chat. Available now on Apple iOS and Android, the Sense.Chat Encryption Protocol uses advanced cryptography combined with the EOS Blockchain to deliver messages so that users will be able to maintain their privacy in an unparalleled, highly secure application.
“You shouldn’t have to compromise your digital-self to have a conversation online,” said Sense CEO Crystal Rose. “With blockchain technology, the digital world can react in the same way as the physical world. Conversations on Sense.Chat are like having a conversation in real life. No middlemen spying on your message or selling your data.”
The key features of Sense.Chat include:
- Private Messaging: Video and text chat with your friends and family securely using our advanced encryption protocol.
- Crypto Wallet: Send, receive, and store cryptocurrencies while you chat.
- Public Channels: Discover exciting conversations and new friends in the Sense community by chatting in public channels.
- Provably Secure: Each party can encrypt messages with the other party’s public key in a true peer-to-peer connection. Users must have their EOS active permission private key loaded to decrypt messages.
- Call Freely: Connect using video call or text over data or wifi with no carrier fees.
- Connect Quickly: Powered by the EOS blockchain; Sense.Chat connects you instantly.
Sense, formerly Sensay, launched their first chatbot three years ago. As blockchain technology saw an inflection point in 2017, the team pivoted to their first Crypto product, CryptoDM, a paid inbox for anyone with a social media following to earn cryptocurrency for their attention. The learnings from CryptoDM helped shape the vision for Sense.Chat.
According to Angel Jose, Sense Lead Software Developer, “CryptoDM was a quick win where we learned the value that connecting a crypto account to a messenger (Telegram) has. Unfortunately, the tools out there to allow people to use crypto and messengers seamlessly weren’t out there. The only user-friendly solution we came up with was building a messenger with crypto in mind from the beginning.”
Sense.Chat is live in the Apple App Store and for Android in the Google Play Store. The first 10,000 accounts will receive 500 Sense tokens.
