Coachella to Offer Limited NFTs for Lifetime Festival Access

Coachella, one of the most popular music festivals in the world, announced that it will offer a collection of NFTs. In partnership with cryptocurrency exchange FTX, there will be three tiers of NFTs offered with the most limited being a set of ten that grant lifetime access to the festival and other perks during the festival weekends this year. The other two sets, in quantities of 1,000 and 10,000, will be redeemable for physical art or a commemorative photo book.

To obtain one of these NFTs, fans must join the FTX exchange and purchase them from the Sights & Sounds NFT collection, when the sale goes live. According to Coachella, “A portion of the proceeds from each item will be donated to Give Directly, Lideres Campesinas, & Find Food Bank, and a royalty will support the creators involved.”

The sale is scheduled to go live this Friday, February 4th. Coachella’s 2022 lineup features headliners Kanye West (Ye), Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, and the reunion of Swedish House Mafia.
