Consensys Lounge is a Hit at SXSW

Blockchain Beach attended the Consensys “Ethereal” Lounge in Austin on Friday night and was greeted with a hosted bar, free food, and a crowd of Ethereum enthusiasts.  Consensys is a blockchain venture production studio building decentralized applications (dApps) on Ethereum.  Last week, Consensys announced the 47 projects that are part of their ecosystem, including popular products like Metamask, Gitcoin, and Truffle.

On Saturday, we were at another event across the street, and saw that they cut the line off early in the night after reaching full capacity.

This all lead to a full day of panels on Sunday, including one with Consensys and Ethereum Co-Founder, Joseph Lubin:
